NAP+ Lineup Announced

Our four-day program at the NAP+ art fair, Donauweg 11. Besides music, expect talks, panel discussions and much more. Prepare yourself to dive into: ‘Behind the Scenes’, ‘Collectivity & Navigating the Arts’ and ‘Art & Sound’.

Thursday, 19:00-21:00, Opening Night
Opening party with Echobox resident Joygail, moving between Hip Hop, Grime and Jazz related sounds from the UK and beyond. This won’t be broadcasted live, but you are welcome to join if you have a ticket, or a valid student card (free entrance).

Friday 13:00-18:00, ‘Behind the Scenes’
Hosted by and music from Marcel van den Berg and Wes Mapes. Hosts of Pan African variety show Rice, Peas, Roots & Culture, and artists in their own right, take a peak behind the scenes:

14:00: In conversation with founders of NAP+, Sarah Lang and David Doesburg, about their vision for the art fair.

14:15: Interview with artist 20uñas, about her artistic practice

Artist and EB resident Luke Cohlen, host of Aural Conduct, will give us more insides on collectives within the art industry and the value of collaboration:

Sunday, 13:00-17:00, ‘Art & Sound’
Hosted by and music from Loma Doom: a sonic art practitioner and staple in the Dutch art scene, Loma will take us on a tour around the intersection of these nebulous concepts:

13:00 Loma doom will start with a run down of how the fair has been so far, together with stroll through her soundscapes.

14:00 We’ll have an online interview with Turner prize nominee Delaine Lebas

14:20 A talk with EB Resident Jonathan Castro (Confusion Unit) can head many directions. Too little time to speak on what he does, as he also works as graphic designer for Dekmantel and the Weather Report series at Bar Theo.

Kamau Nganga and Heidi Holmström, former students of Loma Doom, join in conversation around sound as an art practice.
