Bia Marques

Since 2013, Bia Marques has been a DJ on the Rio de Janeiro scene, later branching into event curation and production. She gained prominence for her musically eclectic sets and her ongoing quest for evolution, technique refinement, and exploration of new sounds, alongside advocating for space within the female-lesbian community. Throughout her journey, she has played at events extending beyond Rio and Brazil, hitting cities like São Paulo, Brasília, Curitiba, Minas Gerais, Porto Alegre, and Vitória, as well as European countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, and the Netherlands. Her DJ sets have been featured on various national and international radio stations, including Radio Mix FM (Rio de Janeiro), Radio Veneno (São Paulo), Rinse France (France), Reprezent Radio, Soho Radio, and Mode Radio (London), Steam Radio (Manchester), Dublin Digital Radio, and more. She has also shared lineups with renowned names like Diplo, Mr. Carmack, Roska, Sángo, Jael, Deize Tigrona, Gabriel do Borel, Tropkillaz, Mulu, and DJ Tamy. In 2020, Bia Marques became a curator and resident DJ at Fervo Fluxo, a party based in London, Paris, Milan, and Rome, bringing funk and its variations across different European countries. She's also the brain behind Rompiendo, a project dedicated to bringing various Latin music styles to the dance floors. In 2022, she joined the lineup of the historic electronic music festival, Boomtown, in London, and in 2024, her first set was recorded and released by Boiler Room during an epic edition in Rio de Janeiro.
